Last year, the organizers received applications from 4,700 photographers from 132 countries.
The jury of the international competition ZEISS Photography Award, conducted with the support of the World Photography Organization, announced the launch of applications. Works can be sent until February 6, 2018.
Each participant has the right to submit to the jury a series of 5-10 photos on the main topic of the current competition. It is formulated as “Seeing Beyond — Untold Stories”. “The main requirement for the submitted photo projects is that they should not have told stories (or told but not before the end),” the organizers say. “At the same time, one can study already known phenomena in the works, but from a new point of view.”
The winner of the contest will receive photographic equipment from ZEISS company for the amount of €12,000 and another €3,000 for the implementation of a personal project.
