Video: What would St. Petersburg look like in the films of Woody Allen, Roman Polanski and Alfred Hitchcock


The compilation includes alternative versions of scenes from more than 30 famous films.

The authors of Scuratti Surprise channel Grigory Ignatiev and Dmitry Novoseltsev published a six-minute video, in which they presented how St. Petersburg could look in the films of cult directors. For this, the authors reproduced scenes from famous paintings, repeating the stylistics characteristic of their authors. So, in the video you can find “Petersburg” versions of scenes from the films of Francois Truffaut, Ingmar Bergman, Jean-Luc Godard, Paul Thomas Anderson, Richard Linklater and Paolo Sorrentino.
